Athletes
Pick a reference athlete above, then add up to three more to compare.
Progress along the route
Distance covered along the route over race time, the reference as the thick line. Flat stretches are the rests, most of them the nights. Computed from the tracks: along the optimised route via the turnpoints, the best reached so far.
How each kilometre was won
Each 5 km of the course coloured by how the athlete covered it, measured as progress toward goal (circling makes none). Between the reference and each athlete, a bar up where the reference flew more of that stretch, down where the other did.
Each 5 km of the course an athlete walked, coloured by the progress made on foot there over the distance walked. Between the reference and each athlete, a bar up where the reference walked that stretch more efficiently, down where the other did.
How each hour was spent
Each hour coloured by its net gain: how much nearer goal the athlete ended it, as a speed. Between the reference and each athlete, a bar up where the reference gained more ground, down where the other did. The lines are when the reference reached each turnpoint.
Gap to the reference at every turnpoint
Hours behind (down) or ahead (up) of the reference when each turnpoint was tagged, in race time from the start; the reference is the zero line. A turnpoint either of them never tagged has no point.
Tracks
Replay in 3D plays the day picked here over the terrain, the athletes compared at their altitude, in their colours here.
Numbers
Every value with its difference to the reference, green where that is better and red where it is worse; distances, hours and counts carry no verdict. Turnpoints give the race time and the place among everyone who tagged them, evenings the distance to goal and the place in the field then. The result is the standings'; everything else is from the tracks, added up over the race as on the stats page.
