Every second of both races in one bucket, against the median of the athletes who raced every day.
Every metre of the track by mode, thermal circles included, against the field median.
Every metre gained toward goal along the course, by mode, against the field median; only new ground counts, so circling on the spot gains none.

How each kilometre was won
Each kilometre of the course coloured by how the athlete covered it, measured as progress toward goal (circling makes none), over the field's share flown there. Where the athlete is blue over a green field, they flew what most walked.
Each kilometre the athlete walked, coloured by the progress made on foot there over the distance walked, over the field's. A pale cell is walking that won little ground: a detour, a search for the way, or zigzags up a steep slope.
How each hour was spent
Each quarter of an hour of the day by what the athlete was doing in it, the time budget's buckets stacked, over the field's share of its tracked time; a column only partly filled was partly off the track. The lines are when the athlete reached each turnpoint.
Each quarter of an hour by its net gain: how much nearer goal the athlete ended it, as a speed in km/h, over the field's median. Unlike progress, ground lost counts against it, so time spent lost or going back for a launch shows red.
Route & task
The dashed ink line and labeled cylinders show the task; the solid colored line is the athlete's track. The thin line with small dots is each flight's XC distance, through its start, up to three turnpoints and its finish (hover a leg for its length; the layers button hides it). Scroll to zoom; the outlined dot is the athlete at the time picked on the profile below. Contour lines come from OpenTopoMap; for Swiss routes the layers button also offers the swisstopo national map, which is sharper once you zoom into a segment. Replay in 3D opens the day full screen over the terrain, the track at its altitude, played back from the time picked on the profile.
Altitude & terrain
Hover or swipe to move the athlete on the map above; click or tap to zoom to that segment. Touch-and-go markers select their ground contact. Grey terrain is ground level from Mapterhorn (© Mapterhorn, swisstopo and others).
The ground model failed for this day: the profile has no terrain, and the day was classified from speed and altitude alone, without the height above ground.

Turnpoints
Crossing times detected from the GPS track. burnair scores turnpoints strictly in order, so crossings after a missed turnpoint don't count officially.
